Our team has represented individuals and corporations on projects in all facets of the coastal development permit process, including coastal plan amendments, subdivisions and coastal development use permits, with particular emphasis on hotels, golf courses and luxury residential development, specializing in coastal issues involving ESHAs, and endangered species.

This team has been actively involved in the expansion of the Pebble Beach Lodge and Spanish Bay at Pebble Beach, as well as the construction and permitting of new golf courses and residential homes within the coastal zone.

Our team has also been a leader in high density development projects within the Coastal Zone, which include projects located in Castroville, Cannery Row and Monterey. We have a history of both defending Coastal Commission approvals and successfully litigating against the Coastal Commission.
